ride-a-thon

We’re “tacking up” for our first annual Stony Lake Therapeutic Riding Center Ride-a-Thon, hosted at Stony Lake Stables. This exclusive event will be held on Friday, June 16 from 12:00-5:00pm. It will be a blast!  Stony Lake Stables is opening up their facilities and trails to YOU and YOUR equine partner. Not only that, we’ll have barrel racing, pole bending, an exclusive river experience, competitions, and prizes! All of this and more, while raising money for our non-profit therapeutic riding center that is having life-changing effects on the individuals we serve here in West Michigan.

Space is limited; in order to participate riders must donate a $150 entry fee which gains them access to the entire event as well as a swag bag, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Furthermore, participants are committing to get pledges from friends and family members to sponsor them for each mile ridden, with a goal of raising $2,500. Prizes will be given based on the amount of money raised and range from a $750 Ariat gift card to a 4 day/3 night vacation. Yes, really! Raise $2,500 in pledges and earn yourself a vacation in the sun!

Stony Lake Therapeutic Riding Center serves six West Michigan counties by teaming Recreational Therapists and their equine partners with individuals who struggle with cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our students represent over 45 different diagnoses, and we offer programming for individuals as well as schools and area organizations. Check us out on Facebook or Instagram!
